The friendly staff. We were celebrating our Golden Wedding Anniversary and they made us feel so special. The views from our window were spectacular.
There was nothing we didn't like except, perhaps, that it is a bit far away from everything but we did expect that.

Shaver point did not work. Bar food was almost inedible - a meat pie with chumks of gristle. My wife was served the wrong breakfast and then blamed by the staff for their error. Overall impression was that the hotel is distant from centres of population and has difficulty attracting good staff.

Friendly staff, enjoyable breakfast, relaxed atmosphere
Our twin bed room was a bit odd in that it had been two rooms with a connecting passageway having been formed. One bed was in each "room". It was not however a big issue.

I stayed at the hotel during a walking trip. The location (on the West Highland Way) is ideal with amazing views of Loch Lomond, the surrounding hills, forrests and Ben Lomond. I will definitely stay there again. A roaring fire in the bar was just what we needed after arriving late and soaked through.
